Strange Animals 99
I Doctor Zimian Ploon have news of the greatest scientific importance! On this day, the 26th January, in the year of our lord 1999, I have the great joy to inform the world of my discovery of a creature whose surreal coefficient is 13.9! Of course this creature is not native to our dear planet Earth. I found it on my expedition to the Oort cloud which surrounds our solar system. There in a rather large dust ball I stumbled quite by chance on a vast pink dragon with the head of an elephant, and the tentacles of an octopus! My fellow xeno-biologists have allowed me the honour of naming the creature the Zimian-Oort creature, and it enters my table of animals as the most surreal creature to be discovered, epsecially since the ridicule of Professor Maximillian Nid's pumpkin-antelope which he claimed a surreal coefficient of 13.3.
